This Geocache of the Week is a unique blend of geocaching and golf, challenging you to rethink your approach to both! Let’s get on the green and get ready to tee off with Alle ballen verzamelen……… (GC8HFHK).

This geocache is better found as a pair or a foursome, so grab your geocaching pals and get started. Located on the sidewalk in Noord-Brabant, Netherlands, is a cleverly crafted geocache that involves golf balls and a bit of luck.

Once at ground zero (GZ), look for house number 11 and begin your search. Remember to stay on the sidewalk! The cache owner, Team Romasvla, recommends only attempting this geocache during the day.

Two tubes protrude from the ground cover, just off the pavers. After closer inspection, a golf ball can be seen in one of the tubes. But how to get it out? Force or violence is absolutely not necessary. To get the ball to come out, geocachers must push the ball further down one of the tubes. This will push the balls out the other side; however, it’s not that easy.

Once the golf ball is out of the tube, inspect it carefully. If you don’t see a cleverly concealed hole, then it’s not the geocache. You must put that ball back in the other end of the tube and push the next golf ball out. This might take some time, but remember, patience is key, just like in a real game of golf!

Finally, the correct golf ball is in hand, and the geocache container is visible! Add your name to the log sheet and celebrate that incredible “hole-in-one” victory! Don’t forget to add the golf ball back to the pipe and do the rotation a few more times to get the geocache to its starting position. What a round! On to the next one.
