Important items like medkits, painkillers and high-end ammo can be crafted by yourself. But for that you need energy, fuel and water. You can decide whether you want to craft or simply sell everything to traders for rubles. Traders offer weapons, mods, armor and quest items. With higher trader levels you unlock better gear. Prices, stock availability and your money all influence your progression.
