How Does the New Class System Work in No Rest for the Wicked?
The new class system ties character progression directly to equipped weapons, completely removing traditional numerical attributes. Players instantly change their class by swapping weapons, unlocking access to 24 unique classes and 362 interchangeable traits that dictate active abilities and combat styles.
Moon Studios designed this system to prevent players from locking themselves into early build choices. Insight gained during combat unlocks class-specific traits, which players can freely mix across six dedicated trait slots.
The studio highlighted several dynamic builds during the official Wicked Inside showcase. The Dragoon class utilizes a spear for mid-range lightning attacks, while the Assassin relies on an overhauled enemy perception system to execute silent takedowns.
Players can combine traits from different paths to create custom hybrids. The system permits an Assassin to utilize Dragoon lightning strikes, giving players unprecedented control over combat dynamics.

Factions, Cerim Cores, and Hardware Support
The 1.0 update integrates Isola Sacra’s lore into gameplay through six joinable factions. Groups like the Severed Hand and the Sacrament Guard offer distinct questlines, unique vendors, and specialized gear for dedicated players.
To handle baseline survivability, Moon Studios introduced Cerim Cores. These modular upgrades replace static leveling, allowing players to boost health, stamina, or specialized stats like lifesteal. Pushing past the core capacity limit incurs a strict penalty, increasing incoming damage by 10 percent.
No Rest for the Wicked currently operates in early access on PC. The full 1.0 launch arrives on PC and PlayStation 5 in March 2027. Moon Studios confirmed that Xbox Series S|X and Nintendo Switch 2 versions will release at a later date. The early access price sits just under €40, but the developer announced a planned increase to around €60 upon the final release.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
