Marvel Zombies Mode Explained
Announced via X with a trailer, Marvel Zombies will force players into squads in the first-ever Marvel Rivals PvE mode. The mode’s trailer reveals that players can slaughter waves of undead with blades, guns, hammers, and teeth in fast-paced action.
Confirmed playable characters are Blade, Magik, Thor, The Punisher, and Jeff the Shark. Each character has a tweaked loadout to help with destroying zombies, and there are two bosses to fight if players get that far, which are Queen of the Dead and Zombie Namor.
Event Rewards and Limited-Time Features
Marvel Zombies is a time-limited event, beginning on October 23 and ending, potentially, on November 14 with the start of Marvel Rivals Season 5.
Specific event-sclusive rewards include a Scarlet Witch skin, which can be unlocked by playing the zombies PvE mode. the mode arrives in time for Halloween, giving players an extra treat over the spooky period, and follows the ending of Marvel Rivals Season 1 on Disney+.
