Daedric artifact quests are a staple in the Elder Scrolls games, but Oblivion takes a different approach to accessing them. Aside from a level requirement, you’ll need to bring an offering or fulfill a secret requirement to start your quest. Not only that, the shrines are hidden all across Cyrodiil, but this guide will provide all the necessary info you need to get started.

Azura’s Shrine

• Location: Directly north of Cheydinhal, go past Lake Arrius. Azura’s Shrine is on a mountain ridge.
• Requirements: Level 2, Glow Dust (obtained from killing Will-O’-Wisps at night). Offering must be made either between 5-7 pm or 5-7 am.
• Reward: Azura’s Star

Boethia’s Shrine

• Location: Southeast of Cheydinhal, follow the trail toward Lake Poppad. The shrine is relatively high up.
• Requirements: Level 20 and 1 Daedra Heart.
• Reward: Goldbrand

Clavicus Vile

• Location: Northwest of Chorrol’s North Gate, across the Orange Road.
• Requirements: Level 20 and 500 gold.
• Reward: Masque of Clavicus Vile or Umbra (quest dependent)

Hermaeus Mora

• Location: North of Sancre Tor, halfway to Boreal Stone Cave and between two wooden bridges.
• Requirements: Level 20 and complete every Daedric quest
• Reward: Oghma Infinium

Hircine

• Location: West of Cheydinhal, east of Charcoal Cave, beside a pond along the Green Road south of Pell’s Gate.
• Requirements: Level 17 and 1 Bear or Wolf Pelt.
• Reward: Savior’s Hide

Malacath

• Location: Near Lord Drad’s Estate, northwest of Anvil
• Requirements: Level 10 and Troll Fat
• Reward: Volendrung

Mephala

• Location: Northeast of Bravil in the Great Forest, east of the Silver Road, halfway to the Orange and Red Ring Road intersection.
• Requirements: Level 15 and one Nightshade
• Reward: Ebony Blade

Meridia

• Location: Northwest of Skingrad’s west gate, between Cursed Mine and Shardrock farm.
• Requirements: Level 10, and either Bonemeal, Ectoplasm, or Mort Flesh
• Reward: Ring of Khajiiti

Molag Bal

• Location: East of Skingrad, southeast of Hackdirt, in the heart of the Great Forest south of Narfinsel.
• Requirements: Level 17 and Lion Pelt
• Reward: Mace of Molag Bal

Namira

• Location: West of Bruma. northeast of the Silver Road and Orange Road intersection.
• Level Requirement: Level 5, Personality must be lower than 20
• Reward: Ring of Namira

Nocturnal

• Location: Between Leyawiin and Bravil, past Blankenmarch.
• Requirement: Level 10, no other requirement
• Reward: Skeleton Key

Peryite

• Location: Southeast of Bravil, on a small islet in Niben Bay on the south bank of the Silverfish River.
• Requirement: Level 10 and one Imp Gall
• Reward: Spell Breaker

Sanguine

• Location: Northwest of Skingrad, southeast of Fort Dirich at the edge of the treeline.
• Requirement: Level 8 and Cyrodilic Brandy
• Reward: Sanguine Rose

Sheogorath

• Location: Southeast of Bravil
• Requirement: Level 2, a Lesser Soul Gem, Lettuce, and Yarn.
• Reward: Wabbajack

Vaermina

• Location: North of Cheydinhal, on the shore of Lake Poppad.
• Requirement: Level 5 and Black Soul Gem
• Reward: Skull of Corruption
