Marvel Rivals has teased the Fantastic Four in their latest social media post. The four iconic superheroes are going to be playable in Marvel Rivals. Here’s everything you need to know.

The Fantastic Four in Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals posted the first image of the Fantastic Four. The image includes Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards), The Invisible Woman (Susan Storm), The Human Torch (Johnny Storm), and The Thing (Ben Grimm). The illustration includes H.E.R.B.I.E., their robot assistant.

Images of Mister Fantastic and The Human Torch leaked a few weeks ago. So, players expected that the team would be released in pairs. Luckily, Marvel Rivals has confirmed that all four team members are coming in Season 1. Some players ask if H.E.R.B.I.E. will be a playable character, but they’ll have to wait for further confirmation.

Possible Roles of The Fantastic Four in Marvel Rivals

Here are speculations on the roles each Fantastic Four member will fill in the game. The speculations are based on the hero’s abilities in the comics and films. 

Mister Fantastic

Mister Fantastic can stretch his limbs and turn his body into different shapes. He’ll probably be a Strategist for Marvel Rivals. He can play a supporting role by covering his team with his abilities. He might also have fast mobility because of his stretch powers. 

The Invisible Woman

The Invisible Woman can turn invisible and use force fields for offense and defense. Given her invisibility, she’ll also act as a Strategist. She can hide and enter enemy spawns without being noticed and provide offense and defense for her team using her force fields.

The Human Torch

The Human Torch can control fire. He can turn himself into a fiery form and fly. His abilities fit the role of a Duelist, helping him take out opponents quickly.

The Thing

The Thing is a rock-like humanoid with super strength and durability. He’s like the Hulk in terms of strength, and has even fought the Hulk in the comics. Since the two are similar, the Thing will probably play a Vanguard in the game. He can provide crowd control and take damage for the team.

Marvel Rival has a trailer coming out on January 6, 2025, featuring The Fantastic Four. The Trailer will probably showcase their abilities and gameplay, just in time for the start of Season 1 on January 9.
